You grabbed the obligatory carton of Eggnog from the grocery store, just because, but rather than leave it in the fridge and sip from it over the next few weeks, here’s a few new ways to spice it up for your Vina’s.

HORSE TRADERS ‘NOG from Lon’s Last Drop
2/3 oz Branca Menta
2/3 oz Licor 43
2/3 oz El Mayor Extra Anejo tequila
½ oz House Cinnamon Syrup
1 oz Cream
1 whole Egg
Garnish with :
3 dashes AZ Bitter Lab Mi Casa bitters and fresh ground nutmeg
MERRY & BRIGHT EGGNOG
For serious drinkers only, this “no Eggnog needed” Eggnog will liven up any holiday fete. Get it at the infamous NiteCap in NYC or make it at home with Natasha’s recipe.
4 oz. Truly Spiked & Sparkling Colima Lime
1 oz. Spiced Rum
1 oz. Vanilla Almond Milk
1 tsp. Stevia Powder
1 Egg White
Combine spiced rum, vanilla almond milk, stevia powder and egg white in a cocktail shake. Begin by shaking without ice to incorporate all ingredients. Next, add ice to the cocktail shaker and continue to shake. Strain the liquid into a Collins glass without ice and top with Truly Spiked & Sparkling Colima Lime. Garnish with grated nutmeg.

Choose to head somewhere warm to celebrate the holidays while others stay home. For those who cannot travel to Hotel Arts Barcelona during this busy season, the hotel’s head mixologist Diego Baud has it covered with this recipe. And can you say cuuuuuute with these eggs as the cups!?
12 Large eggs
500g Organic honey
12oz Amontillado Sherry
1L Whole milk
24oz Organic heavy cream
Grated nutmeg or cinnamon on top
Using a mixer on low speed, beat eggs until smooth. Slowly add cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar until they are fully dissolved. Add the Torres 15 Brandy, Amontillado Sherry, milk and cream. Refrigerate overnight and serve in empty egg shells or a small chilled cups. Sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon on the top before serving.
