Ever feel like you’re stuck in a rut with those same old activities and hobbies that you’ve been doing for years? If so, here is a lovely list of fun things you could try out in Melbourne. We hope they might inspire you to travel to Melbourne (physically, or maybe with a VR headset), or discover hidden treasures in your city (if you enviously already live there).
1. The Wood Frog Bakery

Looking for a good place to grab a bite to eat, sip on some delicious coffee, people watch, or chat with a new friend? This sweet little restaurant is the place for you! Visit.
2. Trampoline Park

Trampoline parks sound like something you would have really enjoyed as a child, right? But why wouldn’t you enjoy them just as much now? Jumping on a trampoline for an extended period of time is actually wonderful exercise and it is also SO MUCH FUN! A trampoline park could make a wonderful first vina date too. Check it out.
3. Sharks After Dark

Okay that title sounded kind of creepy… but really this would be a lot of fun! The Melbourne Aquarium offers a monthly drinks event on Friday nights. They have live music, cocktails, and FISH! It is a little silly sounding… but also fun?! Visit!
4. Mart 130 Cafe

Okay, yes, I know, another coffee shop. But come on… this is Melbourne we are talking about! It’s hard to walk a block without being tempted by another flat white. This sweet little cafe is, however, refreshingly unique. It brought to life in an old stationmaster building and is right next to the tram stop in Middle Park. This place is just screaming to be featured on your Instagram! Check it out.
5. Aerial Yoga

BLACKBIRD offers aerial sling classes twice a week to anyone with no prior experience necessary. Aerial yoga is a wonderful way to stretch, and get a bit stronger. It is also tons of fun. Make sure you sign up online ahead of time and you come to class willing to laugh at yourself a bit.
6. Sherbrooke Falls Walk

This beautiful little hike is only an hour outside of Melbourne and leads you to a magnificent water fall. It is absolutely worth the drive! Take a stroll.
7. Cinema Nova

Looking for some interesting Indie films to watch in a sweet theater? This is your place. Go see something good.
8. Queen Victoria Gardens

This is a relatively touristy park, yes. But it’s touristy for a very good reason–it is stunning. Grab a blanket and a girl friend and have a picnic in the gardens while you enjoy the view. Come on, get out there.
