For those living in the bay area like me, running over to Santa Barbara is the perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco! Even if you’re not from the west coast, Santa Barbara is a wonderful destination to visit with your vinas. I’ve curated a few of my favorite spots for you:

GAVIOTA PEAK

Gaviota Peak offers breathtaking views up and down the coast. I would definitely suggest taking on this trail hike with your vina if you’re up for a day adventure!

LOTUSLAND

Treat your eyes to a visual feast at Lotusland- one of the top 10 botanical gardens of the world. If you and your vina love gardens, botany, or are low-key riding the succulent millennial trend, Lotusland should be on your MUST do list while visiting Santa Barbara.

SANTA BARBARA SAILING CENTER

Take a break from trail hikes and head out to the pacific ocean for some water fun. Maybe rent a boat, pack a picnic basket and spend the afternoon on the gorgeous vast blue waves with your vina!

VINEYARD TOURS

You cannot be in the california and not do a wine tasting tour like this one at the Happy Canyon Vineyard. Vino with your vina sounds like a plan to me!

FINEST ICE CREAM AROUND

You must absolutely visit Santa Barbara’s pride and shine, Mc Connell’s Fine Ice Cream!! Founded in 1949 in Santa Barbara, there’s just something very nostalgic and wholesome about having ice-cream at the OG spot of a nearly 70-year-old brand!

SANTA BARBARA ZOO

Monkey around with your vinas (and maybe actually visit some monkeys!!) at the Santa Barbara Zoo if you’re as animal obsessed as I am. Feeding time with the giraffes is definitely an experience I wouldn’t want to miss!
