THE BEST KID-FRIENDLY VINA DATES

Haven't seen your girls in awhile? Don't fret just yet.

Making time for your vinas is hard when you’ve got little ones who depend on you. They need your time and attention, and sometimes you haven’t got much left for the women in your life.

So, whether you’re meeting up with another mom or your single pal, here’s how to have a blast and bring your kids along!

DINNER DATE PLAYDATE

Miss your bestie but don’t have the time (or energy) to meet her for dinner? Bring the dinner to you! Invite your vina over for an afternoon at your place drawing, playing with imaginary friends and hanging out with the kids together. The kids will love the extra attention (and the extra play friends!) and after bedtime, you and your vina(s) can cook up a nice dinner and drink wine as you catch-up. It’s a win-win!

WEEKEND PICNIC

When the sun starts shining a little brighter and the temps turn up, there’s nothing better than a picnic in the park. Pack up some sandwiches, drinks, and a few games and head to the nearest park with a playground. The kids will love the fresh air , and you and your vina(s) can keep eye on them while hanging out and getting some vitamin D. You’ll all be smiling by the end of this date!

GO TO THE YMCA (OR SOMEWHERE SIMILAR!)

The great thing about multi-purpose gyms and family centers is that there’s something for everyone. You can take all of the kids to the pool and water slides and have a great time, hang out on the outside facilities, or even drop the kids off at the daycare center for a few hours and take a yoga class with your girls. Get movin’!
