MY SELFIE STICK MADE MY LIFE BETTER

True story.

Let me ask you, dear vinas, a Very Important Question: Why are we all hating on selfie sticks all the time? They’ve been ridiculed, thrown away, and even banned at the Colosseum and I really think it’s time to give them a break. Here’s why:

YOU’LL NEVER BE LEFT OUT OF A GROUP PIC AGAIN

Are you the gal who knows everyone’s good angles and has the new iPhone with the amazing camera? Then your friends are probably always asking you to take pictures of them and your Instagram feed is starting to look a little selfie-heavy. I feel you. Bring a selfie stick next time you’re rolling deep with your crew, and you’ll never have group-shot-induced-FOMO ever again!

YOU’LL NEVER TAKE A BAD SELFIE AGAIN

Okay, I can’t guarantee you’ll look amazing in every selfie you take with a selfie stick, but I can promise better angles. You’re lying if you tell me you’ve never wished you could extend your arm just a litttttle bit further while doing a solo photo shoot. And now you can.

GET IN MORE OF THE SCENERY

Selfie sticks are particularly good for travel because you get yourself, and the beautiful scenery, in one pic! Okay, okay, I get why they were banned at the Colosseum (people were sticking them in between columns and dropping them into the Colosseum itself…yikes), but in general if you’re smart with it, it’s a great addition to your travel kit.

Have I convinced you to bring out the selfie stick next time you’re traveling, selfie-ing, or just hanging out with your vinas?
