Is it PPT (prime posting time)? Which VSCO edit did you use? Is it okay to double post? Is this caption effortlessly clever? Should I post this to my finsta or my rinsta?
Instagram- it comes with its own rules and regulations. But no matter your aesthetic, yes Insta aesthetics are a thing, here are six Instagram photos you’ve undoubtedly posted.
Selfies come in many forms. There’s the gym selfie, the au natural selfie, the selfie stick selfie, the selfie with friends, the solo selfie where you’re the only one in the picture but someone else took it. You get the point. Statistically speaking, there’s just gotta be a selfie somewhere on your page.
You would only ever post a food photo if you 1) cooked it yourself and were so proud that you wanted everyone to know or 2) were at a really freakin’ trendy restaurant and wanted everyone to know. Either way, now everyone knows. If only taking a picture really did make it last longer.
This is proof to your followers that sometimes you ditch the Explore page for actual exploring. Maybe it’s a pic of Half Dome or the Painted Ladies. It’s evidence that you were out and about and not looking at your phone for long enough to recognize the location’s beauty.
FUN ‘N FLIRTY PHOTO
Party pics are your way of showcasing your versatility. Working wom by day, bar babe by night. And you made sure to tag your location so everyone could tell exactly where you were and consequently, gauge just how much fun you were having. Now post that bubbly, er, I mean pop.
FYIAH, which stands for “F*ck yeah, I am hot,” was coined by Man Repeller. FYIAH photos aren’t as much about the content as they are about the intent. Maybe it’s a big middle finger to your frenemy or a hello to the hottie who just followed you, but you look dang good in this photo. You know it, they know it and all your other followers know it. Read it and weep.
Every pro poster knows that if you want to rake in the likes, upload a picture of a puppy. No one holds back a double tap for a dog. D’aww, now who’s a good boy?!
Which of these grams are you guilty of? Let us know in the comments!
