RECIPES THAT WILL MAKE YOUR FRIENDS LICK THEIR PLATE

Now that it’s officially winter, and officially cold, I have been eating a lot of foods that warm my body up quickly. I would go out for a quick bowl of pho, ramen, or just make a can of Progresso’s chicken noodle soup. But here are some recipes that can be made at home for your friends, if you don’t want to go out in the cold to get some food. Plus they’re SO GOOD your vinas will be literally licking the last drops out of their bowls.

I have tried her recipe, and it is definitely warming and definitely delish. This recipe has the perfectttttt consistency and just the right amount of flavor. Plus it can pretty much be customized depending on your tastes. Your vinas will love this soul-warming dish!

chiliLITERALLY ANY CHILI RECIPE

What’s better than a warm bowl of chili? I’d argue nothing is on a cold winter night. You’ll easily be the most popular vina in your crew if you go to your nearest bakery and buy bread bowls to serve the chili in. Add cheddar cheese on top to give the soup the melted cheesy deliciousness, and you’re good to go. Recipe can be found here.

lasagnaLAYERS OF CHEESY, TOMATO-Y, LASAGNA-Y GOODNESS

This is one of my absolute favorite dishes to eat and make due to its simplicity. Lasagna requires very few ingredients and is just a repeat of DELICIOUS layers. I love to top my lasagna with an ungodly amount of cheese and cook it long enough for the top to not get gooey and stringy. Your vinas will thank you. Recipe here!

macncheeseMAC AND CHEESE FROM HEAVEN

Another simple yet delicious dish to make for your friends! What’s great about mac & cheese is that you can add any additions you and your vinas want. You can even buy a ton of different toppings like bacon, chives, extra cheeses, broccoli, etc. and every vina and choose whichever ones are her faves. I really like this recipe here.

beefstewLIKE CHILI, LITERALLY ANY KIND OF STEW WILL DO

I feel anything with broth – whether it’s beef stew or chicken noodle soup – is warm and comforting especially on a cold winter night. For a quick recipe, you can find one here. If you have a slow cooker or more time on your hands, another version of the recipe can be found on this site.

So bundle up and stay warm this winter and enjoy your favorite comfort foods with your vinas!
