VOLUNTEERING WITH YOUR FRIENDS THIS FALL (#VINATEERS)

So you’ve found some amazing new vinas. That’s awesome! Friendship is a magical connection that allows you to build, grow, share and develop with special vinas. Spread the love! Volunteering is a great way for you and your vinas to give back to the community (local or global), make a difference and enhance your friendship IRL.

Here’s a few volunteering ideas for all you #VINAteers:

VISIT AN ANIMAL SHELTER, RED CROSS, OR FOOD BANK

Find a service organization in your area that helps people or animals in need. Grab your vinas and spend a few hours sharing your special skills with others by helping the people or animals in your area that need it the most.

GIVE SOME LOVE TO YOUR ELDERS

Contact your local senior center and schedule some time for you and your vina to visit and volunteer. Bring some cards, board games or homemade treats and add a new vina or 2 to your crew. Seniors often lack an exciting social life, and a visit could make their whole week! Plus, we all have so much to learn from our senior vinas.

TRAVEL WITH A PURPOSE

Volunteering abroad is an amazing way for you and your vina to spent some meaningful time together in a new country while helping others. Check out International Volunteer HQ, Maximo Nivel, or GVI for some exciting international volunteering opportunities.
