HEY! FAQ: WHAT DO I DO IF MY VINA FLAKES? ðŸ˜¤

While we always encourage vinas to meet up ASAP, we know sometimes things don’t work out the way you planned. Everyone’s busy, and everyone has lives outside of Hey! VINA. Hopefully, none of your vinas will ever flake, and you’ll meet lots of lovely ladies. But if you find that you’ve been cancelled on or if you’re having trouble making concrete plans with someone, we’ve got some tips for you:

LET HER MAKE THE PLAN

A vina is less likely to flake if the meet-up was her idea! Let her pick the activity, coffee shop, or bar as well as the time or place if you can be flexible. If she makes the plan, you know she’ll be free and interested in what you’re going to do together.

CONFIRMING IS 🔑

Don’t be afraid to send a confirmation! Message your vina the day before or the morning of just to check in, say hey!, and confirm the deets of your meet-up. It’s good to send a reminder just in case, and let her know how excited you are to meet her 👯.

FOOL ME ONCE…

We definitely suggest giving your vina a second chance, even after she flakes the first time. But if she cancels on you twice (or more), it’s time to move on. At the end of the day, a flakey vina might not be as invested as you are to making friends. But have no fear, we know that if you keep swiping you’ll find someone as enthusiastic and reliable as you in no time.
