As far as Chicago goes, there really isn’t a cooler city. Of course, if you live there you already know that! There’s so much to do on any given day that it can almost be overwhelming to pick something low-key to do with a new vina. We asked some of our fave Chi-town vinas for their go-to picks, so that you don’t have to. Check out their ideas below!

BE A TOURIST
Even if you’re a Chicago native, sometimes and can be fun to go sight-seeing. Play tourist and visit Cloud Gate (aka The Bean). Millennium Park is nice to walk around and get to know your new BFF, and The Bean gives you the PERFECT selfie opportunity. So grab your vina for a pic and don’t forget your selfie stick!
ART INSTITUTE CHICAGO
When was the last time you took a visit to the AIC? Our co-founder and CEO Olivia says that this is literally the best museum in the country, so take her advice and stop by! Right now, you can check out iconic contemporary masterpieces in their New Contemporary Exhibit or Aaron Siskind‘s awe-worthy abstract photography.
ROCK CLIMBING AT MILLENNIUM PARK
Did you know can go rock climbing at Millennium Park in the summer? Neither of you have to be an expert to go climbing, and a first Hey! VINA date is the perfect time to try something new. Cheer each other on or try racing to the top!

GET DEEP
Nothing says Chicago like the absolute heaven that is Deep. Dish. Pizza. We know everyone has their favorite local joint, but how about returning to a classic like Giordano’s? Do me a favor, after bonding over the cheesy, saucy deliciousness, mail me a slice?
DOUBLE TROUBLE
Speaking of pizza, nothing goes better with a hot slice than a cold brewski. That’s why Piece in Wicker Park is such a winner. Have one of their award-winning beers alongside delicious pizza. You really can’t go wrong.

CLASSIC COFFEE
For a first vina date, sometimes the best activity is simply grabbing a cup of joe. It lets you focus all your attention on getting to know your new friend. If you’re feeling fancy, try Gaslight Coffee Roasters for yummy coffee and treats. Plus, their really cute wall paper and tables make for A+ coffee instagrams. 😉
